Bell Gully Pro Bono Programme
WCLS is delighted to have a pro bono partnership with law firm Bell Gully. Bell Gully has offered us a wide brief on the types of pro bono support they can offer us. To date, Bell Gully has:
- Provided legal opinions for clients on complex or non-WCLS specialties;
- Acted for clients referred by WCLS;
- Provided regular secondee lawyers to help with our busy legal clinics; and
- Provided secondee lawyers to cover WCLS staff leave;
In addition, Hayley Miller, Bell Gully Senior Associate, is a current member of our Governance Board.
Our partnership with Bell Gully has enabled us to maintain our core services without interruption. It has also enabled us to meet some unmet needs that we otherwise would not be able to meet. We are confident our relationship with Bell Gully will go from strength to strength.
