Legal Education

Legal Education is an integral aspect of the services we provide.  Providing legal education in our community enables us to take a preventative approach whereby we are able to inform people around the law and their rights.  We do this by:

  • Meeting the educational needs of our community;
  • Providing up to date legal information and resources;
  • Identifying and responding to any emerging legal issues in our community.

The legal education journey to combat the ills of our society just keeps rumbling on, and we have the following free workshops to look forward to:

Know Your Rights at Work

In this workshop we will be covering a broad overview of your rights at work, including employment agreements, minimum entitlements and unfair dismissals.

When: Tuesday 14th of February at 7pm
Where: Rangitoto College

Setting up a Family Trust

In this workshop, we will be tackling the basic elements of a trust, including the reasons why you should set one up. This is ideal for anyone who want to know more about trusts, or who deal with clients that want more information about this area of law.

NOT IN WAITEMATA?

We work with clinics all over Auckland and we think the work they do is just fantastic. So if you can’t make it to us, you might want to consider what’s going on around the rest of Auckland. Check it out here.
